Better buy until 2.0 Released

Really a good software, I love it. But I think it's better
buy until
2.0 released. Here's my point:

Their policy:

1,Enjoy free upgrade to *all* new updates (including major)
released
within 12 months
2,Enjoy free updates of MyLife Organized to all new minor
updates.
That means from 2.0 to 2.99, you don't need to pay update
fee no
matter how long it last.

Since 1.92 already released, there might released 2.0 soon. 
We
actually cannot enjoy the above policy 2.  For example, If
they
release new version, say 2.1, in one year later, then we
have to pay
update fee if we buy Version 1.92 now. But if we buy after
they
already released version 2.0, then no matter when they
release 2.1, we
can enjoy free updates.

It seemed that unfair for the users to buy now since it's
very close
to a major  version change.

Andrey, can you promise we can get all the  2.X  minor
changes for
free no matter how long it last if we buy Version 1.92 now?
That would
be more reasonable.   '

Perhaps I misssed some information, but the last that I
catched was "There will be versions 1.10, 1.11 etc
".

We are only at 1.9 (actually 1.9.1.389) now - if you need,
read it 1.09 instead of 1.9

I'm not Andrey, but for 99%, it shall be that way. How I
understand it:

- if you buy 1.9 now, you will get 2.0 for free (because it
will be released within 12 months from your purchase)
- when you have 2.0, minor updates are free automatically
for the lifetime of that version number, not only 12 months
from purchase.

The 12 months term, applies for MAJOR updates. Once/if you
got the major update for free, you shall be receiving the
MINOR updates for free, no matter whether Andrey will keep
releasing them for 6 months or 6 years in that version
number.

This is based on a mistaken assumption i.e. that 2.0
necessarily
follows 1.9 whereas in fact the next versions after 1.9
could as
likely be 1.10, 1.11 and 1.12 as 2.0 - version numbers are
generally
major.minor.release (or similar) so we could, in theory,
continue to
1.99 or even 1.999...

Even if it goes straight to 2.0, folks who purchased it from
Jan07-
May07 will still lose out if it comes out more than 1 year
from
purchase date. Should make it Jan-01-2007 onwards instead of
May 21st
(took a while to look that up) onwards get upgrade free.
Easier to
remember too.

How will one "lose out"? One will have had the
benefit of the
software, fully functional - for that matter one will
/continue/ to
have the benefit of the software, still full functional with
all of
the attributes that made it worth buying in the first
place.

I still have to argue with it being said at all because it
implies
that one is hard done by when that isn't really the case.
