Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that you need
Enterprise edition to analyse WMS logs

Hi Lars
I'd be interested to know of any good cheap programs that
can analyse Windows Media logs? Only ones I've come across
are pretty pricey (other than Analog) and not really that
good.
Regards
Grant

I might have misunderstood the question, but why not just
use the logging function on the WMS server?
Along with info about each client it also stores what clip
they are watching and for how long.
If you're not happy with raw log files, there is plenty of
good, cheap programs out there that can turn it into graphic
reports.
Merry christmas

Subject: Embedding scripts on WM Encoded files
Dear all,
We are trying to monitor the amount of time a streamed video
is consumed. Apart from having to create a WMP plug-in (I
also take the opportunity to ask if there are any developer
resources for this or examples), we were wondering if an
embedded EVENT script on the WM file, for OPEN and CLOSE,
could be used to report to a specific URL that the streaming
started and that the streaming ended? Would there also be a
way to have some information from the WMP itself? Like the
Unique ID of the player?
Thank you,
Pedro
