Depending on how old/slow your system is and what OS you are
using and how
you use your computer, the answer is probably yes. Going
above 2 512MB
sticks is probably not worth the expense for a typical
consumer level user.

Ordering from Crucial is easy, reliable and very much worth
the small
premium on the price. There is no better memory around.
However, if your
computer is old and slow and close to becoming a door stop,
buy the cheapest
memory you can from the local flea market or pawn shop.

Type this in your google search bar: Q108079
