Thanks Galt,
The computer I have now has a VGA connection, but it's 4
years old and I'm
looking to the future with this monitor. Glad to hear there
is an adaptor.

Have an Acer AL1913W, and it's good. I use a DVI-to-VGA
converter on my
graphics card, and it gives me a sharper image.

I'm thinking of taking the plunge and buying a flat panel.
Don't know much
about them. Tiger Direct has a sale on an Acer 19"
model. Here are the specs
on it,
Great Value With Excellent Viewing Clarity
Enhance your vision with the Acer AL1906AB! Incorporating
the latest LCD
technology, the Acer AL1906AB offers the best visibility,
performance and
unprecedented value. The high level of brightness 270cd/m2
together with the
optimal contrast ratio of 500:1 renders crisp images and
enhances legibility
With its fast response time of 8ms, the Acer AL1906AB
brings remarkable
display quality to your desktop
It has a VGA input instead of the DVI, does this make much
difference? Is
this a good buy at $149 after $50 rebate? Also it has a lot
of good reviews
and I notice people kep saying no dead pixels. If it had
some, couldn't you
return it as defective?
