Hi,
You need to configure your webserver , ie apache if you are
using apache.
For that i do not remember how i did that but if you are
using Linux and using apache and have yum utility installed
you might use somthing like
yum install openssl

..
and then need to configure httpd.conf , will search and let
you know for that but in the meantime go to your respective
webserver mailing list for that and do some googleing.
Even than if the problem is not solved reply back.
Thanks,
Abhishek jain

There is no "conversion" other than possibly
moving some files and
updating links.
SSL is primarily an encryption key and an endorsement from a
trusted
company verifying your identity.
It will not make your site itself more secure but it will
make the
data transmitted to/from your site more secure.

Unless you are hosting this site yourself, from your own
machine on
your own server, you won't need to go mucking around with
server
configurations.
If you are running your website from your own machine, you
have a bit
to go before worrying about the site:
You will need a static IP address either from your ISP or a
service
like DynDNS.
If you are trying to run this from your home, you will
need to verify your ISP will allow it. (ISP's have been
known to
cancel when they discover you are running a commercial
server over a
residential connection).

After all that, if you are running a LAMP Server, there are
tons of
"How-To's" for perfoming an SSL install. I would
recommend looking on
the forums your specific OS.

If you are runing this website on your own leased server
(such as from
ThePlanet or RackSpace), they will be better able to assist
you in
installing SSL for your specific configuration.

If you are with a hosting company (such as HostGator or
Yahoo Small
Business), they will have instructions for using SSL with
your site.
Most offer a service which will do the installation for you
for a very
modest fee.
