Thank you Patrick.
Guys, please, ignore the message where I said to turn register_global on - you shouldn't (eventhough it is on on all the sites i have).
I was actually thinking about magic_quotes, not register_globals. Appologies.

I changed magic_quotes_gpc to On in php.ini and I'm now able to make changes to the config via the GUI. The other PHP errors are outside the realm of MyChat, as I see them ocurring on other php applications on the same box.
Thanks.

Subject: [phpMyChat] Re: Reinstall
I'm sorry this took me so long to try. I commented out the two lines
and I still get Constant already defined for every variable and cannot
make changes to the chat thru the admin page, just directly in the
database. The chat does work fine. Also, I installed a second chat
room on the same server and database and it has the same behavior as
the first one. Could it be my php somehow?
