Hi volks,

I've installed fudforum-phpgroupware from debian sid on a
etch server running Mysql5 and php5.

Everthings work well but triing to generate pdf inside
fudforum gives the error below; the same happens with the
"goto forum" options at the bottom of fudforum
(see error below)

I think that a $GLOBAL[][][] variable is not set correctly
in the head.inc.php file, but I don't see how to fix it; I
would guess that it is only a configuration error
(hopefully).

Actually Fudforum standalone application (2.7.7) creates pdf
without problems

Adding more infos...

the CVS version has the same problem as previously
reported.

FYI to run fudforum with mysql 5.0 a little hack is needed:
after setting chmod -R 777 fudforum

in the fudforum/setup/base/src/forumsel.inc.t modify

AS reads with AS readsx or just another SQL alias (in mysql
5 reads is a reserved word).

Actually an update to fudforum 2.7.7 would be nice :d

cheers

Continuing to reply to myself... (since nobody cares ....)

Adding a couple of lines in the

/var/lib/phpgroupware/files/fudforum/include/core.inc files

$GLOBALS['phpgw_info']['server']['template_set']='verdilak';

define('PHPGW_TEMPLATE_DIR',"/usr/share/phpgroupware/ph
pgwapi/templates/verdilak ");
$GLOBALS['phpgw_info']['user']['apps']=array('admin','fudfor
um');

as a "mental experiment" I experienced that the
"goto function" to jump between forums works but
the pdf generation is anyway disabled even if enabled in the
fudforum/setup menu.

I guess that most of the problems are generated by an
improper interaction between fudforum and phpgwapi

cheers
