Does ActionScript 3.0

AS3 is a great language in itself, the downside is that the Flex2 framework is way too heavy. They say applications are supposed to take longer to download than a website, but I think that the line between apps and websites are bluring, so, we are really in need of a good alternative lightweight but powerful framework for AS3/Flash9.

Actually I'm answering this msg in a hurry so I can't stop to think. But being something like pixlib for AS3 and allowing us to write killer apps without the flex2 framework would be the fairly enough
