Lloyd: Ellis, I really thought I was doing the sensible thing,
seeing an endocrinologist.

Ellis: It was a very sensible thing to do. I also consulted with
an endocrinologist when I bought my first vial of growth hormone,
in June, 1998. But it was a mistake, too.

He wanted to know why did I want to take growth hormone...?

I answered, because I am growth hormone deficient...

He wanted to know how did I know I am growth hormone deficient...?

I answered, because I am 52 years old... I have wrinkles... I feel
tired...

He said THAT is not a GOOD REASON to take growth hormone... !

(Oh, it isn't??? Then what's a good reason to take growth hormone?)

Anyways... that was my first fight with an endocrinologist...

The next fights have all been similar. I also fight with them
because their patients come to me after they refuse to give
treatment to them.

I am not a doctor, but I have been forced to be like a doctor,
by doctors who don't want to treat patients who need them and
they leave their patients without anywhere else to turn to,
except to me.

Maybe I should be grateful for this opportunity to be a doctor.
I am, in fact, an expert in a topic (how to use growth hormone,
and insulin, and EPO) that I thought only doctors are expert
in. But it turns out they are experts but they don't want to
be doctors to the people that need them.

Lloyd: And I have a list of several other endos I was going to
contact, thinking I must have stumbled on one bad apple.

Your reply kinda knocked me off my feet.

Ellis: I imagine if endocrinologists would read my reply they
would also be knocked off their feet, right before they come
charging at me. But if you think I might be the only one
who fights with endocrinologists, ask Dr. Ronald Klatz how he
feels about endocrinologists.

Lloyd: I was even planning a visit to an endo in Juarez thinking
he might be more knowledgable. But you have proven accurate on
so many topics I take your comments very seriously.

I've searched for anti-aging doctors but so far none have shown up
within a reasonable distance. And so many I've looked up online
seem to be all about cosmetics rather than hormones.

Discouraging.

I'll close by praising the ray of hope you hold out for so many who
have been mistreated by our existing medical pretenders.

I'll write you soon.
Lloyd

Ellis: Well, I repeat, there ARE some good doctors in this world,
and if you find one, please share him with the rest of us... As
I wrote before, the doctors who are subscribed to Rejuvenation
are usually good doctors... They are interested in learning more,
even if it is from me, (not a doctor...)

I would travel far to see one, if I didn't already have my three
good doctors in Mexico City.

Speaking of travelling far:

I am in BOGOTA, Colombia, as I write this post. I came to buy
a big and beautiful EMERALD... this is part of the fairy tale
life my life has become... A few weeks ago I was in incredible
Gran Canaria, trip paid for by the Phantom of the Opera...

Now I am in Bogota, Colombia, trip to find the most beautiful
stone that hypnotizes whoever sees it. I expect I will survive,
but this is not the same degree of danger as going to Gran Canaria...

This is like the Wild West must have been. There are guerillas
in them thar hills, and there are thieves wanting to separate
me from my money... and in spite of the good news of the escape
this week of a dozen persons who had been kidnapped, there are
still 700 persons who have been kidnapped and who have not
yet escaped.

Last year I came to Colombia for a short visit because I had
bought a cheap airplane ticket that was about to expire and
lose all value... so I came to Bogota for a weekend...

While I was here, I decided to go check the scene of emeralds,
because I had been to Brazil many years before to buy Aquamarine,
Amathysts, Topaz, etc. so I had bought books about gems and
gemstones... and I knew the Colombian Emerald is unique on
planet Earth, because it is the only emerald that is clear and
transparent. Brazilian or African emeralds are opaque. Colombian
emeralds are transparent, light shines through them. They are
incredibly beautiful.

I went with a body guard to downtown Bogota, to someplace
where miners and lapidaries meet to buy and sell emeralds...

In about 30 seconds I had about 40 miners in muddy cowboy boots
surrounding me, showing me their emeralds...

My body guard nearly flipped... he said we have to get out
of here... I didn't see the danger, but he saw the danger...
We were surrounded by men who thought I have a lot of money on me,
and further away there were a lot of other men who had seen all
these men surrounding me as if I have a lot of money on me...

To make a long story short: I ended up buying a few lots of
very beautiful but small emeralds.

I got back to Mexico, and I told many people about my adventure
in Colombia...

And now, one of these persons has a girlfriend who he wants
to marry, and he wants to get her a large and beautiful emerald...
so who else to call, to go buy him a big and beautiful emerald?

I don't know how these things happen to me, but they do... Ever
since I got on the internet, amazing things happen to me...
I suppose it is because I am the Amazing Dirty Old Man who teaches
my friends how not to grow old, so I do good things for them...

And then I suppose some of my friends want to do good things
for me too...

And who else is there to trust when you want to buy an emerald,
other than the Amazing Dirty Old Macho Man who went to Colombia to
buy emeralds last year?

I actually enjoy this, but it makes it hard for me to get on
the internet as much as I should, so e-mails pile up and might
go unanswered for a while... or forever...

This time, in fact, I want to go to the mines... I am the Alpha
Man... I have too much growth hormone and oxygen and testosterone
flowing through my body... I have to do something interesting
all the time... Where are all those beautiful women?

whoops... I mean... where are all those beautiful emeralds?

And like the poor bacteria that enter my body and die before I
get a cold, I'm not afraid of guerillas or bandits, because
they can't get me, either... they would be sorry if they did...

I have to go... but I will go with two body guards this time...
but first I have to find what I came for: the most beautiful
emerald in Colombia.

If anybody wants a Colombian Emerald, big or small but beautiful,
let me know soon, because I can get some really beautiful emeralds
while I am here.

How did I write all that in this post? I dunno. I just did.
But it is interesting... And it is funny, but it is true...

And you all know me, so I'll send it, so you will get to know
another side of me...

Ellis, Prince of Emeralds
