Thanks for all the replies. Although there wasn't that much to help
compare the two.

.Net and OO programming is something I'm not looking forward to.
Tried to cross over from linear COBOL two decades ago and failed.

I think CSS allows more flexiblity with layouts and templates.
My site needs a better Menu system - currently CoolMenus v2
(JavaScript) - and CSS-based menus seem easier and more cross-
browser compatible.

NB: My current front page menu does not appear in Mozilla browsers.

More advice would be welcomed.
