3-5 years experience in the design, development and maintenance of Business Objects reporting applications, the last 2 using XI; troubleshooting reporting issues; supporting users in problem resolution.
Strong SQL skills in an Oracle data warehouse environment.
Solid experience creating complex measures, queries, filters, templates, graphs, prompts, etc. for use in reports within WebI.
Familiar with data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling
Pluses:
Experience with Crystal Reports.
Experience with CMS.
Experience with testing associated with SP and FP upgrades.
B.A./B.S., MIS, DP or similar degree preferred.

Job description:
- Develop reports using BO XI R2 WebI.
- Develop objects: prompts (cascading, hierarchical), filters, templates, hierarchies, etc.
- Implement report scheduling and bursting.
- Clarify and gather reporting requirements as needed.
- Troubleshoot reports.
- Tune report performance.
Primarily, the candidate must be highly proficient with Business Objects Web Intelligence and Designer, and most especially for the role of Report Developer. A solid understanding of how Business Objects interacts with the database and how universe objects relate to database objects, is critical, as is understanding the SQL it generates, and how to resolve SQL traps.
Critical Technical & Behavioral Skills/Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of IT experience of which three (3) must have been in a decision support or data warehouse environment, with at least one (1) year of support staff experience and one (1) year of pharmaceutical industry experience.
