Since I had to camp out in a Sprint store today to get them to fix
some issues with our old phones (don't let me get started....) I
decided to look at this new touch-screen phone that the sales guy
talked about, the "Instinct". I'm pretty sure he called it superior
to the iPhone.
After a few minutes of looking at it, I decided to give it a less-
biased test. I handed it to my 13-year-old daughter and asked her to
find the contact list and show me a telephone number. Five minutes
later, she still hadn't found it. (Turns out that you have to press
phone-logo hardware button to get to any kind of phone features.)
I didn't find it superior to the iPhone in any way in the few minutes
I looked at it. Its even more expensive to purchase. ($209.00 with
contract. ) And no one was lining up to buy them.
Oh, there was one thing: it works on Sprint. (Well, I assume. I
didn't actually make a call.)
Maybe if I had never tried an iPhone... then I might believe the sales
pitch.... for a little while.
