Lexmark C910 Faded print on reverse of paper

Just a thought - I wonder if its got anything to
do with the fact that most paper stock is "sided".

Usually on the outside of each ream there will be an arrow.
This indicates the face of the preferred printing side.

Not sure what the difference is between the two sides?
Maybe someone else knows the reason ?

Best regards

Marcus

Subject: [Laser Printer Repair] Lexmark C910 Faded print on reverse of
paper

I have a customer with Lexmark C910 and a weird problem that I cant
work out and this is what he wrote

After printing on one side of the paper and then printing on the
reverse side (manual duplexing) , the image is fading and not
printing full strength on the reverse whether running just one copy
or many. It is most noticeable in the magenta and cyan with slight
patches in the yellow and black.

It does the same thing regardless the weight of the stock or whether
the stock is hot or cold (left for a number of days), but only on the
reverse side of the paper. This has been getting worse over a number
of days.

Have tried printing on a light stock with the printer set to card
stock and still get similar results. Printing from tray or manual
feed also gets the same result.

When running multiple copies of the first side it is printing ok.
Drums are ok and there is plenty of toner.

Any ideas ?
