Hi Russ,

I am noticing that the bushings are a bit worn with toner filled
grooves. I did order the lock levers; I will pickup some bushings thank
you for the tip.

Yeah I forgot that I order the bushings in addition to the kit on all of
the
21xx and 4xxx model fusers, the OEMs don't last long. I usually order
the
carriers for the film too especially on the 4200's as well as 4200 lock
levers.

Yah I think more than the film bushings being malformed that the pressure
roller rides slightly off causing the fillm to ram to one side causing the
tearing/shredding. Ones that I replace the pressure roller bushings and film
guides get a dot of blue paint marker so I know if I've changed them
although I replace them on each rebuild anyway. Only had one come back with
a blue dot, that was damaged by the EU using inkjet labels in the printer.
