HP Laserjet 9050 Fuser "Thump"

I'm starting to see some fusers for the HP 9050 series printer starting to develop flat spots
on the bottom roller of the fuser ass'y similar to what happen to the HP 9000 fuser The few
that I've seen only have a little over 100K on them. In the case of the HP 9000, HP replaced
the DC Controller and the Fuser ass'y even after the one year warranty was up.

Has anybody experienced the same thing and does anybody know if HP is offering any help?
