Is there any way to fix the raw_input() r bug?
http://pydev.sourceforge.net/faq
.html#why_raw_input_input_does_not_work_correctl
y

I know I can use raw_input().replace('r', ''), but that's a
bit of a hassle.
Is there any other way to fix it?

Cheers.

Choices are:

1. You can fix python to treat that (changing raw_input to
handle r).
2. You can fix Eclipse to treat that (discovering why it
puts the additional
r and not just n).
3. You can just use the workaround.

Either way, it's not a pydev fix (and I think it would be
very difficult to
make a patch like this go into Eclipse... so, maybe fixing
and sending a patch
to python may be the easier way to do it 'right').

Cheers,

Fabio
