Code can not be parsed

One Problem by using Pydev (I use python 2.4.x)

If I view the code with <b> python2.5 syntax
</b>, such as, 
self._vars=a[0] if len(a) else {}

I have troubles under the outline view. In this case, I get
only an error, such
as, encountered if at line....
but no Code structure any more,

Is that a bug of pydev or should I change configurations in
order to view the
outline!

That's how the outline view works... it'll only be updated
on successful parses
(so, as that's not valid for python 2.4, it won't update
accordingly -- so,
if you want to have python 2.5 syntax, you really must set
the project as such
-- even if your interpreter is a python 2.4 interpreter:
that option is solely
used within pydev to handle those parsings).
