I've uploaded Java Lucene 2.1.0 as an official Debian
package
ten minutes ago, thanks for the good work of Jan-Pascal
van Best. Because it is a new package it might take some
days to wind through the approval process. I'm not sure
what
is going on in gcj-land these days, but this should help
open
the door for an official pylucene package.

The inevitable march of progress and all that jazz...

Neat. What version of gcj is it being compiled with ?
What version of Python ?
Does "make test" pass all tests ?

Andi..

Cool. I'll take a look sometime over the week (mostly as I'm
going to
need it for plush to inspect our lucene indexes on some
servers), if you
need any assistance in the packaging, let me know! (I had
some packages
for sarge laying about because I don't like installing
non-packaged
software on our servers, which will be migrating to etch now
the release
has happened .

Thanks!
