The log4j.txt file contains:

[WorkerThread-1] ERROR sc.application.autoupdate - Connection timed
out: connect
...

as expected. Thanks for offering to improve this.

There's still the issue of proxy support

Please try to use following VM-options (for details on how to specify VM
options refer to the SmartSVN help):

http.proxyHost
http.proxyPort

For details on the properties, please refer to
