Add more debug vars

Hi everyone,

I've just subscribed to the dev list, I've been using SMARTY
since about a
year ago. I was wondering if there is any way to assign more
vars to the
debug section in some way that they're not included in the
general vars
section of the console (I need to includ $_GET, $_POST,
$_COOKIE and some
sql debug). Also I'd need to know wich templates are cached
and wich not.

I've been searching in the dev list but I didn't found what
I was looking
for. Is there any method such as assign_debug_var or
something similar?

The easiest would be to provide your own debug template.
Just copy the
debug.tpl from the distribution, extend it and configure it
at
$smarty->debug_tpl.
