What is funny, the system may go into a
"split-brain" mode,
so that input is accepted from the keyboard but not from
the serial port. Still, the output is sent to serial port,
if no video card is present.
Or vice versa. A video card is installed, but no keyboard.
The system accepts console input from the serial port,
but the output is displayed on the video.
