If you need more storage why don't you use the second IDE
channel, you
can easily
connect another 40GB Seagate to it. I have two disk plus
the CD-ROM in
my V100.
Just be aware of boot disk selection, if you have to disk in
the system
and you install
e.g., Solaris 9, the system will boot from the disk attached
to the
secondary IDE
channel. BTW, the V100 has no internal PCI slot(s).
