Checking out a single file using Subclipse

Hi, How to check out a single file (not a folder) from SVN
using subclipse?
Is there any option to do this? Sometimes, we might want
only one file from
the repository & this file may not be already there in
the local/working
copy & so we can't 'update' the local file but we have
to checkout the new
file from the repository.

Thanks.

Subversion does not support this (working with single files), you cannot even do it using the command line client.

The second part of your message seems to veer in a slightly different direction.  If you already have a working copy and the file is just part of that, then an update of your working copy should bring down the new file.
