Thanks for the reply Sorin. I would say most of the time
I'm getting at
least half and sometimes a tad higher than half (I did hit
6MBPS once).
I'm still going to call and see what's up with this. I
have heard from
others who has Road Runner service, that they are almost
always close to
the speed that they are paying for. We'll see! Once again

you pay for a
8Mbps service but only get half, you should have a rebate on
your monthly fee
relative to the lower speed. Ie you should only pay for what
you actually get.
I don't see why this would be any different in the US. Go
get them!
