Hi Mattia,

Wx::Mini looks like it will provide everything needed for
Wx::Package::Win32 to move to pure perl - all that's needed
is the names
of the libraries and their installed location - which
Wx::Mini provides.
It will be nice to get back to the idea of a
'Wx::Perl::Packager'.

On a completely separate topic, when you do the next
'official' PPMs for
Windows, would you consider compiling the WxWidgets DLLs in
those PPMs
with a specific vendor name. Say 'wxperl' or 'mbarbon'
rather than
'custom'? From other mails to this list its clear that
most folks
compiling their own DLLs leave the vendor name as
'custom'. It occurred
to me that if (as) wxPerl becomes more popular, it would be
nice to be
able to tell if the wx DLLs installed on a machine are the
official
version (with predictable compile time compatibility flags
etc.) Its
just a suggestion.

Many thanks for continuing to find time for wxPerl work!

Regards

Mark
