Because I know better as anybody else that the SPE source
code isn't
the right place to start. (If you enjoy a meal in a
restaurant, don't
get dissappointed by a look in the kitchen.) I start writing
it as an
experiment to learn Python, so it's obviously not a good
base.

No committee, but community. I was just curious how popular
this
ide(a) would be and I want as much as possible IDE
developpers would
join. Don't ask me why, I just think it is a good thing to
do. Let
also all other bright pythoneers jump in and there are
many... We
could start very soon. It would help if people start writing
down
their ideas. Also important is to collect latest theories
about IDE's
so we might catch up where others fail.
Anyway the best base is in my view a core library which
independent of
any framework (ui, web, peak or whatever). But that is just
my point
of view.
