Can anyone else confirm that the wx.Gauge demo doesn't work
on Linux? I
tried wxPython 2.8.4.0 and 2.8.6.0. Works fine on Mac and
Windows.

Thanks Dj. I think I'm remembering that this is actually a

running a Linux VM in Parallels on Mac.

Works fine in a Linux VM in VMware Fusion on Mac. VMware
has much
better support for Linux guests than Parallels does.

Yeah, I've used Parallels and VMWare, and I think I'm going
to switch
back to VMWare, even for Windows.
